This year CrewHQ worked together with ReelTime Media to pilot a job-share training programme aimed at addressing the retention of mid-level skilled workers in feature film and HETV drama production. The programme centred around creating a pool of job-sharing talent from existing crew in below-the-line roles with between five and fifteen years of industry experience.
The programme supported job-sharing pairs by creating more flexible working options, giving them various options to split one full time role to suit their specific needs and goals. Applicants were welcomed from all backgrounds, whether they were returning from parental leave, had care responsibilities, were managing a health condition, or looking for a better work-life balance.
Delivered on-site at CrewHQ, ReelTime Media’s skilled trainers and coaches also designed impactful training to empower successful applicants and improve their confidence to facilitate a successful job-share.

- Identifying skills, any gaps, and work values.
- Creating a pitch to approach other job-sharers and employers.
- Structuring and managing a job-share.
