It was a privilege to welcome Peter Safran, Co-Chairman, and CEO of DC Studios to CrewHQ for a very special morning of activity for young students looking to get into the film and TV industry.
50 students from our local education partner Herts For Learning, joined students from The National Film and Television School for a once-in-a-lifetime DC-themed morning at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden. They attended a costume workshop session with Costume Designer Richard Sale all about his work on upcoming DC film Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, complete with actual costumes from the film provided by Warner Bros. Corporate Archives.
Students then had the incredible opportunity to join an in-person ‘Ask Me Anything’ Q&A session with Peter Safran himself, hosted by Emily Stillman, SVP Studio Operations at WBSL. Peter shared his inspiring career journey starting out in the mailroom at a talent agency and gave lots of great practical career advice to the students in a very engaging session.
We look forward to hosting more industry experts for our ‘Ask Me Anything’ series in the coming months.
