The Opportunity
This programme starts with training in our bespoke CrewHQ centre, based at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, to prepare you for work and give you support, awareness and skills in the following areas:
- Set etiquette and resilience training for life on production
- Understanding key production paperwork and terminology
- Guidance on how to be a freelancer
- Exploration of entry level roles and career pathways across many different departments
- CV preparation and interview practice
Throughout the programme you will get the opportunity to meet productions currently filming and be eligible to interview for trainee placements.
All trainees will be supported by our CrewHQ team with guidance as well as financial support for training travel and accommodation costs.

FAQS
Yes. We’re looking for people who are passionate about working in below-the-line roles (ie. production office, finance department, construction, costume, camera, locations, VFX, and more.) It’s not for people wanting to be actors, performers, or senior crew such as directors, producers in production. We welcome applicants who may have transferrable skills, for example, from projects at school or college or university, or other creative sectors such as theatre, music, photography and commercial production, or from roles in other sectors such as business administration, event management, or make-up and hair applicants with salon experience.
Other than achieving a grade 4 or above in Maths and English GCSE, there are no other qualifications required to apply’ to read: No qualifications are required.
There is a minimum age of 18 but no upper age limit. However, it is important to note that this is an entry level scheme and any placements will be at entry level.
The production is shooting 17 June-13 September 2024. Your start date will depend on your role.
No, you do not need a driving license to become a trainee although it is advisable to get your driving license sorted in the long term as it will be easier to attend location shoots and complete some additional tasks if you are able to drive.
