CrewHQ were delighted to support the British Film Institute to deliver Access to Action: BFI Future Skills Traineeship Programme. The programme took place between June 2022 and September 2023 with the aim of providing pilot training and insight activities to new entrants in the film and TV industry.

Throughout the programme, 16 successful trainees spent time with productions filming on the lot at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in a variety of dedicated placements in departments including Camera, DOP and Hair and Makeup, on productions such as HBO’s high-end TV drama House of the Dragon Season 2, and Warner Bros. features Mickey 17 and Beetlejuice. These bespoke training opportunities provided trainees with a valuable and realistic window into the industry, ensuring that participants could make an informed career choice at the end of their placements.
