A helping hand to overcome barriers and create pathways into film and TV production.

Our Career Cultivator training programme took place between the 15th-19th June. Targeted at applicants who have faced significant personal challenges and barriers to entry, the programme aimed to demystify roles in the industry, provide practical techniques to strengthen applications and assessment skills, and empower trainees to grow their confidence at every stage of a recruitment process

Key objectives of the programme:

• Empower trainees to find a pathway into a career in film and TV production.
• Support to overcome personal challenges, insecurities, and self-doubt, including barriers experienced due to neurodiversity, disability, ethnicity, or social background.
• Demystify the recruitment process, helping trainees to understand how it works and to approach applications with confidence.
• Strengthen applications, interview, and assessment day skills, with practical techniques that can be applied immediately.
• Grow confidence to communicate authentically at every stage of a recruitment process.
